The evolution of the IT market in the last decade has shown (as well as in other markets where the product evolution is conditioned by the need for high investments) that complex software such as ERP and Best of Breed, are expected to become the prerogative of a few world player.
SYSDAT has long recognized this trend and has never tried to be present in the ERP market with their products.
This, among other things, enabled it to maintain a "super partes" role that has always been appreciated by customers. However, in some cases commercial partnerships (not exclusive) are also convenient for keeping the technical know-how on the products.
Nowadays, most of the enterprise information systems are made by integrating a number of “best of breed” applications bought on the market or they are made by an all-embracing ERP with suitable parametrization. Nevertheless, there are many peculiar business activities in a company that still require applications developed “ad hoc”.
SYSDAT developed many of such applications, and for most of them owns the rigth of reselling them. These applications can be used as a basis to create new similar “ad hoc” solutions for other customers, reducing the time of development and consequently the cost, compared to a solution built entirely from scratch. These products are referred to as "Sysdat Solutions".
